Silver-washed Fritillary. The female butterfly Argynnis paphia f. valesina which has a variant of the usually much more orange colour, was shimmering in a copper colour and depending from where you looked you could see streaks of blue, green and the white was really pearlescent. From another angle again he was just a orange brownish butterfly with white, that was really amazing. Unfortunately I couldn't get any closer due to the fact that some giant hogweed was direct beside this wild sage plants. And I didn't wanted to touch the plant as it is known to cause severe burns on the skin (there are two giant variants one is highly toxic the other not.. I didn't have a clue which one this was and didn't want to take a risk.)

Though I feel a little guilty, I rather take the time to create new art you hopefully will enjoy and which hopefully will inspire
you, give you a smile at the right time, and work on my Project AWW, helping the true Angels get recognised for their
